What Corner Statistics Cannot Tell You
Corner data describes one form of attacking outcome. It does not directly measure overall performance, chance quality or the probability of winning the match.
A high corner count can represent:

- repeated low-quality crosses;
- desperation while trailing;
- an opponent deliberately defending deep;
- several fortunate deflections; or
